WHO WE ARE

Filipe Oliveira Dias, Arquitecto, Lda - is an studio for architecture, planning and design conceived and developed in such a way as to give a rightful and qualified answer to the globality of problems involved in designing man´s space of fulfilment and achievement.
Hard Work
Since it´s beginning, 17 years ago this studio planning, design and built work has totaled around 172 500 000 Euros. Some of our works are still being built, and these represent approximately 38 600 000 Euros.
Team Work
Filipe Oliveira Dias, Arquitecto, Lda, counts on a team of 19 specialists in different domains that bring our clients various solutions from architectural planning to urban planning, from industrial design to civil, mechanical, and confort engineering.
Experienced Work
We think it´s not inapropriate to state that we have built up a good and sound experience during this last 15 years. The result of this being today our technical infrastructures. Specialized software, state-of-the-art planning and 3D modelling applications, models and virtual reality techniques complete the scenario, allowing us to bring our clients the best available.
Multidisciplinary Work
We may start at a urban design and town planning level and then proceed towards building design. Afterwards it´s possible that we´ll have a go at specific industrial design research and development, when suitable tou our purposes and those of our clients and finally we even do the hard work, red tape and all.
This way we manage to give a coherent and all-around response to modern space urban challenges.

Work with quality has thus been our moto. And it shows!
Universities, polytechnics, libraries, museums, local and public administration buildings, rehabilitations and interventions in heritage buildings, urban requalification, complex technological industrial plants, housing and social equipments and theatres both in Portugal as abroad make us proud of our achievements.
Responsible, Efective Work
But we also have a different kind of achievement of which we are equally proud: Filipe Oliveira Dias, Arquitecto, Lad, has managed to respect budgets and schedules, timings and resources and still maintain high construction standards defying time and fatigue. All of this, we think, is the result of a specific way of looking at the work of an architect, a working style that is apparent in the project and is intensified during the building process, accompanying the work all the way through its various stages and mutations, fiscalizing it.
